To measure temperature distributions in process engineering, it is common to use multi-point thermocouples, which allow multiple temperature measurements from a single process opening.
Customary configurations consist of individual thermocouple lines, which have to be integrated into the connection head in large numbers. At the bottom, the individual elements are joined using an auxiliary construction.
Coaxial thermocouples close the gap between simple electrical thermometers and these special designs. This is due to the fact that they allow several measuring points to be installed within the installation space of a normal measuring insert. This makes it possible to assemble a complete measurement station from standard components. The connection heads, neck tubes and thermowells can be taken from our standard delivery program. This reduces the delivery period and lowers the costs.
